Neurodynamic
Breathwork

The breathwork I guide is rooted in Neurodynamic Breathwork, an adaptation of Dr. Stanislav Grof's Holotropic Breathwork developed by Michael Stone.Neurodynamic Breathwork uses deep, diaphragmatic breathing paired with evocative music to shift awareness out of the thinking mind and into the body. This non-directive process accesses the psyche's innate capacity for healing and psycho-spiritual release. It is less about "doing it perfectly" and more about opening up to what has been asking to be released—sensations, emotions, memories, transpersonal experiences, and insights. After years of personal experience both as a breather and a facilitator, I can say it is the most powerful tool I've found for accessing expanded states of consciousness, facilitating deep healing, and opening to that mystical energy living just beyond our waking day-to-day reality.

"Breathwork Magic"
A poem by Josh Forman

Life is the space between our first breath
and our last
Our entrance into this life, a breath in
Our exit, a breath out
The breath is our direct link to the animating spirit within all beings
The breath is not only our lifeline, but also our landline
A tool to enter the expanded space between dreams and wakefulness,
Between higher self and lower self
For healing, for guidance, for a long needed rest
For reflection, for release
If you feel called to access the wisdom that has always been inside you—
then prepare for a journey of breath and music
A sacred container where we allow what has been pushed down for so long to emerge
A descent into the depths of yourself
Expression is the opposite of depression! What you resist persists!

Testimonials

"The breathwork session was such a unique, fulfilling experience that is hard to describe in words. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.I approached the breathwork session in a less conventional way by using it as an experience to share with my 9 month old. As she napped on my chest, I adapted the breathing exercises and allowed myself to fully immerse in the music. At one point, I felt as though we were one again—our breathing in sync, her body completely relaxed against mine. In the midst of such a chaotic and clunky season of life, the experience was incredibly therapeutic."— Jayne C.

"Yesterday I had my first formal breathwork experience with Josh, and I was nervous going in. However, Josh’s calm, supportive presence and clear communication immediately put me at ease.He began the session by sharing valuable information about breathwork and the body in a simple, accessible way that was easy to understand and absorb. The experience felt like being in a deep meditation while floating on a cloud. After just one hour with Josh, my body felt purified, and my soul felt renewed. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in exploring the benefits of breathwork."— Jodi F.

Meditation Coaching Session

Meditation is not just a technique—it's your mind's relationship with the organism of the present moment. In these 50-minute sessions, we explore the foundational practices of the contemplative traditions: Shinay (the Tibetan art of settling the mind), Shamatha-Vipassana (calm abiding and clear seeing), and Non-Dual Self-Inquiry in the tradition of Ramana Maharshi. Drawing on the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, these sessions are less about "learning to meditate" and more about discovering what's already present when the noise settles.Whether you're brand new to practice or have been sitting for years and feel stuck, this is an invitation to go deeper—with guidance, context, and a lineage that has been refining these methods for centuries.

WITHIN: The Path of the Golden Thread

About me

My path into this work began long before any certification. It started with questions—about life, death, and consciousness, about what it means to heal, about the deeper nature of the mind and the Self.My formal education began at Colorado State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus in neuroscience. During that time I interned in their cannabis research lab, working with EEG technology to study how cannabis use affects the brain. After taking a World Philosophies course at CSU, I dove head-first into the sacred texts of Taoism, Hermeticism, and Gnosticism, which led me into a lengthy study of Buddhism and Hinduism. In 2025 I was initiated into the Paramahansa Hariharananda branch of Kriya Yoga, a lineage of masters tracing back to Mahavatar Babaji.I'm currently completing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University, with a clinical internship in trauma-focused care. In early 2026, I completed my six-month certification as a Neurodynamic Breathwork Facilitator—a training that bridges somatic science with the kind of deep inner work that western clinical approaches often neglect. What I bring to sessions is years of personal practice in contemplative traditions, extensive experience with non-ordinary states of consciousness and plant medicines, a genuine devotion to the inner life, and a belief that the most profound healing happens when we stop treating symptoms and start looking deeply into their causes—with honor, spaciousness, and compassion.Paramahansa Prajnanananda teaches that most of our society is so focused on the "outer journey" of life—careers, material wealth, and social life—that what we often neglect is the "inner journey"—our journey towards Self-realization. My vocation, my spiritual calling in this life, is to use what I have learned and unlearned on this path towards helping others begin or go even deeper in their own inner journey.
If you're ready to go within, I'd be honored to accompany you.
